Description

As soon as an image is uploaded to WordPress, it is automatically sent to the Pixpie optimization service.

On Pixpie side the best appropriate quality is calculated by Auto quality feature.

The optimized image is sent back to Wordpress and will be used instead of the original image. You can always revert optimized images back to originals (they are saved on your disk).

By default Pixpie WP plugin optimizes just new images, but it's easy to compress all existing images from media library.

Average optimization for JPEG and PNG images in file size will be:

  • 30-60% for JPEG
  • 40-90% for PNG

Optimize up to 100* images per month for free!

(*in WP in average 500 compressions = 100 images)
